Xanthan Gum food grade is yellowish white powder soluble in water with a high viscosity even at low concentration. It is a microbial polysaccharide produced by fermentation of carbohydrate with Xanthomonas campestris which grown naturally from wild cabbage.

By unique characteristics of high stable, efficient thickening, suspending, etc. Xanthan Gum is widely used in food applications like beverage, sauce & gravies, salad dressing, dairy, bakery, etc as high performance thickener, stabilizer, moisture retention, and suspension.

Usage: It also extensively used for building a viscous water solution or plain brines followed by weighting with salt grains or carbonate powder for obtaining a solid free drilling , completion or work-aover fluid that may effectively prevent formation damage.
Recommended Dosage: 0.5%-1.0%. (Customers can adjust the dosage according to their actual situation).
Package: 1. The product is usually kept in multi-wall bags with polythene layer inner, and net weight of each bag is 25 kg. 2. Special packages are available based on customers' requirements.
Container Capacity: 20 TON/20'FCL with pallet, 21 TON/20'FCL without pallet.
Storage: 1. The product should be kept in shady, dry and ventilated warehouse where environment temperature is controlled below 122ºF and relative humidity is under 50%. 2. It should be prevented from sun and rain, and positioned in a place away from heat and fire; the recommendation for bag piles is no more than 8 layers.
Shelf Life: 2 years.

1) Xanthan gum is used in baked goods (bread, cakes, etc.) to improve the water retention and softness of baked goods during baking and storage to improve the mouthfeel and extend shelf life of baked goods.
2) Xanthan gum plays a role in tenderizing and improving water retention in meat products.
3) Thickening and stabilizing food structure in frozen foods.
4) Adding xanthan gum to the jam can improve the taste and water holding capacity and improve the quality of the product.

5) It can be used as a thickening and suspending effect for beverages, making the mouthfeel smooth and natural.
6) The use of xanthan gum in ice cream and dairy products (combined with guar gum and locust bean gum) can stabilize the product.
7) Compounds such as xanthan gum, carrageenan and locust bean gum are also commonly used in jelly and candy processing.
