Chemical property

Colorless cubic crystals or white crystals. Has a salty, cool and slightly bitter taste. Soluble in water, soluble in liquid ammonia, slightly soluble in alcohol, and insoluble in acetone and ether.

Purpose

It is mainly used for manufacturing dry batteries and storage batteries. It is also a raw material for manufacturing other ammonium salts. It is used as a dyeing aid, an additive for electroplating baths, a flux for metal welding. It is also used for tin plating and zinc plating, tanning, medicine, candle making, adhesives, chroming, and precision casting. Used in medicine, dry batteries, fabric printing and dyeing, fertilizers, tanning, electroplating, detergents, etc. Used as a fertilizer for crops, it is suitable for rice, wheat, cotton, hemp, vegetables and other crops.

Yeast nutrient (mainly used in beer brewing); dough conditioner. Generally used in combination with sodium bicarbonate, with a dosage of approximately 25% of sodium bicarbonate or 10-20g/kg of wheat flour. Mainly used in bread, biscuits, etc. Processing aid (GB 2760-96). Potassium chloride is used as an expectorant and diuretic in medicine.
