Description

Overview The successful development of Fluelana has created a new research direction for GABA-gated chloride channel disruptors, which has attracted the attention and favor of veterinary medicine and pesticide scientists. Application Fluelana mainly works by interfering with GABA-gated chloride channels, which is similar to the targets of insecticides such as cyclopentadiene, phenylpyrazoles and macrolides. Fluelana is a broad-spectrum insecticide that has good insecticidal activity against pests such as ticks, sphinctera, pedicel, hemiptera and diptera, and its toxicity is higher than or equivalent to that of commonly used insecticides. Fluelana not only has no significant cross-resistance with existing insecticides, but also has good insecticidal activity against some resistant pests. Preparation Fluralaner is synthesized by the reaction of the intermediate 4-(5-(3,5-dichlorophenyl)-5-trifluoromethyl-4,5-dihydroisoxazol-3-yl)-2-methylbenzoic acid (Intermediate I) and 2-amino-N-(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)acetamide (Intermediate II). Biological Activity Fluralaner (A1443, AH252723) is an oral systemic insecticide and acaricide. Fluralaner inhibits γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA)-gated chloride channels (GABAA receptors) and L-glutamate-gated chloride channels (GluCls).
