      Product Detail

Biphenylhydrazine is a novel acaricide developed by Uniroir Chemical Company (Compton Group) of the United States. It has a broad spectrum of control, is safe, has strong knocked down ability, stable performance, is not affected by light, heat, etc., is resistant to rain erosion, has good long-lasting effect, is friendly to beneficial insects and natural enemies, can rapidly reduce the base number of harmful mites, kill both eggs and adult mites, and more thoroughly prevent and control the damage of harmful mites. It is more sensitive to difficult-to-control mites such as the two-spotted spider mite, has a long-lasting effect, and can protect crops from damage for a long time, making it very suitable for integrated pest management. Physical and chemical properties: Biphenylhydrazine ester appears as white solid crystals. Solubility (at 20℃) : 2.1 mg/L in water. In organic solvents (g/L) : toluene 24.7, ethyl acetate 102, methanol 44, acetonitrile 95.6; Partition coefficient (n-octanol/water) : LogPow=3.5. The mechanism of action: Bifenate mainly acts on the complex III site of mitochondria in cells, inhibiting mitochondrial energy transfer in cells. After coming into contact with the agent, the mites start to show paralysis and excessive excitement 3 to 10 hours later. They stop feeding and laying eggs within 1 to 2 days and gradually die within 3 to 4 days. Biphenylhydrazine is a new type of selective foliar acaricide that is non-systemic. It is mainly used to control active spider mites, but it has an ovulidal effect on other mites, especially the two-spotted spider mite. It has a good control effect on agricultural mites such as citrus red spider mites, rust mites, yellow spider mites, short-haired spider mites, hawthorn spider mites, cinnabar spider mites and two-spotted spider mites.
