Phosphoric acid is an inorganic medium strong acid, phosphoric acid is an important chemical raw material, its chemical uses are as follows:
1, treat the metal surface, generate insoluble phosphate film on the metal surface to protect the metal from corrosion.
2, mixed with nitric acid as a chemical polish to improve the finish of the metal surface.
3, the production of washing supplies, pesticide raw material phosphate ester.
4, the production of phosphorus-containing flame retardant raw materials.

ure phosphoric acid is a colorless rhombic crystal with a viscous liquid. Density 1.834g/cm3, melting point 42.35℃. Pyrophosphoric acid is produced when the boiling point is 213℃ (losing ½H2O). Heating to 300℃ becomes metaphosphate. Deliquescent, soluble in water, soluble in ethanol. Its acidity is between strong and weak acids, weaker than strong acids such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and nitric acid, and stronger than acetic acid, boric acid, etc. The structure of the junctional acid and hydrate is composed of PO4 tetrahedra linked by hydrogen bonds. These hydrogen bonds remain in the concentrated solution, and thus exhibit viscosity. Commercially available phosphoric acid is a thick liquid containing 83-98% H3PO4. In the dilute solution (54%H3PO4), the phosphate ions form hydrogen bonds with water. Phosphoric acid has no oxidation capacity. But its acidity is common. It can react with alkali, alkaline oxide and inorganic salt. Concentrated phosphoric acid irritates the skin and mucous membranes. Hot concentrated phosphoric acid can corrode porcelain and can be stored in stainless steel containers.
