L-Glutamic powder, E620, CAS No.56-86-0, a nonessential amino manufactured through fermentation from carbohydrate sources. no materials of animal origin are used in the manufacturing process. It is a component of folate (folic ), a B vitamin that helps the body break down amino . One of its salts is monosodium glutamate (MSG), glutamic should be avoided by anyone who is allergic to MSG. Uses: L-glutamic is used as a component of parenteral and enteral nutrition. L-glutamic is also used in manufacturing of the seasoning Monosodium Glutamate.
