Description

Strong Acid Catalyst Ion Exchange Resin, Macroporous, Hydrogen Form, is a sulfonated polystyrene–divinylbenzene copolymer with a permanent macroporous structure, supplied in the hydrogen form. Unlike standard SAC water treatment resins, this product is optimized for use as a solid acid catalyst in organic and inorganic chemical reactions. Its high surface area, strong acidity, and macroporous design allow efficient access of reactants to active sites, delivering superior catalytic performance in esterification, hydrolysis, hydration, alkylation, and other acid-catalyzed reactions. It provides an environmentally friendly alternative to mineral acids, offering easy separation, reusability, and reduced corrosion.
