Description
Strong Base Anion (SBA) Ion Exchange Resin, Macroporous Structure, is a polystyrene–divinylbenzene copolymer with quaternary ammonium functional groups. Its permanent macroporous structure provides excellent resistance to organic fouling and improved physical stability compared to gel-type SBA resins. This makes it particularly suitable for treating waters containing natural organic matter, color bodies, or suspended contaminants. Supplied typically in the chloride form, it is widely applied in water demineralization, deionization, and industrial process treatment where fouling resistance and long service life are important.
Applications
-
Demineralization and deionization of industrial water with organic fouling risk
-
Boiler feed water treatment with high organics or color bodies present
-
Condensate polishing in power plants
-
Wastewater treatment for color and anion removal
-
Food and beverage industry water purification
-
Pharmaceutical and chemical process water treatment
-
Selective removal of organics and humic substances
Key Features
-
Macroporous matrix with permanent pore structure
-
Enhanced resistance to organic fouling and suspended solids
