      Product Introduction

Sodium Bisulfate (Common Name: Sodium Hydrogen Sulfate, CAS:7681-38-1,EINECS:231-665-7, HS Code:2833190000) is a premium acidic salt (also known as dry acid) with the molecular formula NaHSO₄ and molecular weight 120.06 g/mol. Our food, industrial and laboratory grade products comply with GB 25549-2010, USP, EP and FCC quality standards. It appears as white crystalline powder or granular crystals with strong acidity, highly soluble in water (1080 g/L at 20°C) and slightly soluble in ethanol. As a safe and cost-effective dry acid source, it is widely used as pH regulator, acidulant, coagulant and descaling agent in food processing, water treatment, industrial cleaning and laboratory applications.

    Items Specifications

Industrial grade: 25kg woven bags with inner PE liner, 50kg plastic drums or 1000kg FIBC containers. Laboratory grade: 5kg fiber drums with PE liners or 1kg amber glass bottles for high purity requirements. Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse at 25°C or below. Keep containers tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption and contamination. Avoid direct sunlight, heat sources and contact with alkaline substances. Shelf life is 24 months under proper storage conditions.

    Safety Information
Classified as non-hazardous for regular transportation. The product is strongly acidic and may cause severe irritation to skin, eyes and respiratory tract. Wear chemical-resistant gloves, goggles and dust mask during handling. In case of contact, rinse the affected area with plenty of clean water immediately and seek medical attention if irritation persists. Avoid inhalation of dust and ingestion. Complete MSDS and relevant qualification certificates (COA, GMP, ISO) can be provided upon request.

    Reactivity Profile:

Acidic salts, such as various BISULFATES, are generally soluble in water. The resulting solutions contain moderate concentrations of hydrogen ions and have pH's of less than 7.0. They react as acids to neutralize bases. These neutralizations generate heat, but less or far less than is generated by neutralization of inorganic acids, inorganic oxoacids, and carboxylic acid. They usually do not react as either oxidizing agents or reducing agents but such behavior is not impossible. Many of these compounds catalyze organic reactions. The combination of calcium hypochlorite, sodium hydrogen sulfate, starch, and sodium carbonate, when compressed, caused the materials to incandescence, followed by explosion, [Ind. Eng. Chem., 1937, 15, 282].
