Epithalon (also written as Epitalon) is an artificially synthesized tetrapeptide discovered by Russian scholars. Its amino acid sequence is alanine - glutamic acid - aspartic acid - glycine (Ala - Glu - Asp - Gly), which is the core active fragment of the natural pineal gland peptide Epithalamin.
The core mechanism of its extensive research is to activate telomerase, extend telomere length, thereby delaying cellular aging and prolonging cell lifespan. It also has antioxidant, immune regulation, neuroprotection, and improvement of sleep rhythm effects. Animal experiments show that it can delay aging-related physiological decline , reduce oxidative damage, and enhance immune function.
