    Chemical Properties: D-p-hydroxyphenylglycine is a white flaky crystal or white crystalline powder with a melting point of 204℃ (decomposes). It is slightly soluble in ethanol and water, and readily soluble in acidic or alkaline solutions to form salts.


    Uses: Reacts with potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide to yield potassium and sodium d'Oxyphenidyl salts, the latter being important side-chain compounds in the preparation of semi-synthetic penicillins such as amoxicillin and cephalosporin antibiotics such as cefadroxil (trade name: Olay), cefoperazone, etc. It can also be used to produce amoxicillin, cefotaxime, ceftriaxone, etc.

    Uses: Primarily used in the manufacture of semi-synthetic antibiotics.


    Uses: Used as a pharmaceutical intermediate, mainly in the synthesis of semi-synthetic penicillins, amoxicillin, cephalosporins, etc.
