Polyquaternium-22 (Abbr: PQ-22, CAS:29297-55-0,EINECS:249-545-0, HS Code:3906909000) is a colorless to pale yellow viscous liquid, a cationic copolymer of acrylic acid and diallyldimethylammonium chloride. We supply industrial and cosmetic grades complying with international quality standards. It features excellent water solubility, good conditioning, thickening, antistatic and pH-responsive properties, with high compatibility with cosmetic ingredients. Widely used as conditioning agent, thickener and stabilizer in personal care products, and flocculant in water treatment.

Applications
Hair Care Industry (Core Application)
Premium conditioning agent for shampoos, conditioners, hair masks and styling products. It provides excellent wet and dry combability, reduces static electricity, repairs damaged hair cuticles, endows hair with long-lasting softness and smoothness, and enhances foam stability and creaminess of cleansing products, especially suitable for transparent hair care formulations.
Skin Care & Personal Cleansing
Added to body washes, facial cleansers, shower gels and liquid soaps to reduce skin irritation from surfactants, improve foam texture, enhance product viscosity and stability, and leave skin feeling soft, moisturized and non-drying after washing.
Cosmetic Formulations
Used as thickener, stabilizer and film-forming agent in styling gels, mousses, hair sprays and creams. It improves product texture and rheological properties, enhances styling effect, maintains hair natural flexibility, and provides long-lasting moisturizing effect.
Water Treatment Industry
Efficient cationic flocculant for wastewater treatment, industrial circulating water and sludge dewatering. It effectively flocculates suspended solids and colloidal particles, removes turbidity and organic pollutants, and improves solid-liquid separation efficiency.

Packaging & Storage
Standard packaging: 50kg plastic drums, 200kg sealed HDPE drums or 1000kg IBC tanks. Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse at 5–30°C. Keep containers tightly sealed, away from strong oxidants and direct sunlight. Shelf life is 24 months under proper storage conditions.
