      Product Detail

Stearic Acid 1842 is a high-quality, palm-based, triple-pressed saturated fatty acid, also known as Octadecanoic Acid or n-Octadecanoic Acid . The "1842" grade denotes a stearic/palmitic blend with a typical C18 content of 40–44% balanced by C16 (palmitic) of 52–59% , supplied in bead form as a white, waxy solid with a characteristic mild fatty odour.

This grade offers low iodine value, low moisture, and excellent colour (Hazen ≤ 60), giving it strong performance as a lubricant, emulsifier, thickener, release agent, and hardening/co-stabilising agent . It is widely used across soaps and detergents, candles, cosmetics and personal care, rubber and tyre compounding, PVC and plastics processing, lubricants and greases, crayons, and metallic stearate manufacturing (zinc, calcium, magnesium stearate).

We supply internationally certified Stearic Acid 1842 from PT Dua Kuda Indonesia (Zenyu brand), with material backed by a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and Kosher (K LBD) certification. Available for both domestic and export supply.
