Its molecule contains both a carbon-carbon double bond and a carboxyl group, making it highly reactive in polymerization and esterification reactions. Its downstream applications span diverse fields such as coatings, water treatment, adhesives, textiles, personal care products, and pharmaceutical intermediates. In the coatings industry, it serves as a key raw material for water-based acrylic emulsions, latex paints, and anti-corrosion industrial coatings, enhancing the paint film’s adhesion, weather resistance, and washability, and is suitable for the production of exterior building coatings and anti-rust coatings for metals; In the water treatment sector, it is used to synthesize polyacrylic acid and sodium polyacrylate flocculants and scale inhibitors, which efficiently chelate calcium and magnesium ions, inhibit pipe scaling, and settle suspended solids in industrial wastewater. In the textile industry, it is used as a sizing agent and finishing agent to improve fabric wrinkle resistance, softness, and shape retention; in adhesives, it is used to prepare pressure-sensitive adhesives and water-based white glue, enhancing bonding strength and aging resistance. In the fine chemicals sector, it can be used to synthesize a series of acrylic ester derivatives, with small quantities of high-purity grade used in the synthesis of pharmaceutical intermediates and laboratory organic synthesis reactions. Density: 1.051 g/cm³ (20°C); acidity meets specifications; moisture content ≤0.1%; polymerization inhibitor content is controlled at 200±50 ppm to prevent spontaneous polymerization at room temperature. Standard industrial and foreign trade packaging is divided into three categories: the primary export packaging is 210-L closed steel drums (net weight 210 kg), bulk 1,000-L IBC containers, and sample-sized 25-kg/50-kg small steel drums. This product is classified as a Class 8 corrosive hazardous chemical and requires a dangerous goods packaging certificate for maritime transport. Color ≤ 15 (APHA), free of mechanical impurities, with moderate volatility; it tends to crystallize at low temperatures, so storage temperature must be maintained at a stable 15–30°C, away from heat sources, oxidizing agents, and strong bases. Reagent-grade purity reaches 99.8%, with extremely low levels of heavy metals and impurity ions, making it suitable for scientific research and high-end fine synthesis applications. All specifications comply with the Chinese national standard GB/T 17529.1 and international quality inspection standards for chemical exports.
