• It is a thin, transparent, dark red scale or brownish-red powder that is odorless, deliquescent in moist air, and affected by light.

• The product is very soluble in water and practically insoluble in ethanol (95%), exhibiting positive identification tests for ferric salts and citrates.

• Assay (Iron content, Fe): 20.5% to 22.5% w/w on dried basis.

• pH Value: Varies depending on formulation standards, aligning with official pharmacopeial guidelines.

• Loss on Drying: Complies with standard pharmacopeial limits.
