Aluminum ammonium sulfate (ammonium alum) is an inorganic compound with the molecular formula NH₄Al(SO₄)₂·12H₂O and a molecular weight of 453.33 g/mol. This white crystalline powder or granules is a widely used chemical in water treatment, food processing, and analytical chemistry. Aluminum ammonium sulfate is manufactured through the following routes:

• Crystallization: The product is crystallized from aqueous solution to obtain the dodecahydrate form.
