      Product Introduction


    Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC, CAS:9004‑62‑0), nonionic water-soluble cellulose ether, manufactured by etherification of refined cotton pulp and ethylene oxide, followed by neutralization, washing, drying and pulverization. It appears as white to off-white free-flowing powder, odorless, soluble in both cold and hot water to form clear viscous solution, insoluble in most organic solvents. HEC possesses excellent thickening, suspending, emulsifying, film-forming, water retention and protective colloid capacity. It features outstanding salt tolerance, stable viscosity within wide pH range and good compatibility with various surfactants, pigments and polymers. Widely recognized as universal rheology modifier complying with industrial additive standards. Our plant adopts continuous purification technology to control insoluble impurities, moisture and particle size, stable viscosity grades, extensively applied in water-based coatings, oilfield chemicals, daily cosmetics, construction materials, textile printing & dyeing and polymer synthesis industries.
