Potassium bicarbonate is widely used across multiple industries, including food, chemical, agriculture, and pharmaceuticals:

• Food Industry: Primarily used as an acidity regulator, chemical leavening agent, and nutrient supplement (potassium source). It can be used in baked goods, soft drinks, mineral beverages, and more. As a food additive, its CNS number is 01.307 and INS number is 501(ii).

• Chemical & Industrial: Serves as an important raw material for the production of potassium salts such as potassium carbonate and potassium acetate. It is also used as a dry powder component in fire extinguishers.

• Agriculture: Can be used as an eco-friendly fungicide to control fungal diseases in crops, as well as for soil maintenance and crop fertilization.

• Pharmaceutical & Research: Used in the pharmaceutical field as a mineral supplement (potassium). In laboratories, it is used for preparing buffer solutions and as an analytical reagent.
