    Performance and Applications

    1. Used as low‑foam detergent or defoamer L61, L64 and F68 are applied to formulate synthetic detergents with low foam and high detergency.

    L61 acts as a defoamer in papermaking and fermentation industries.

    F68 serves as a defoamer during blood circulation in heart‑lung machines to prevent air entrainment.

    1. Polyethers feature very low toxicity and are widely used as pharmaceutical excipients and emulsifiers. They are frequently found in oral and nasal sprays, eye and ear drops, and shampoos.
    2. Polyethers are effective wetting agents. They can be used in fabric dyeing, photographic developing and acidic plating baths. In sugar mills, F68 improves water permeability to achieve higher sugar yield.
    3. Polyethers are useful antistatic agents. L44 provides long‑lasting static protection for synthetic fibers.
    4. Polyethers function as dispersants in emulsion coatings. F68 works as an emulsifier for vinyl acetate emulsion polymerization. L62 and L64 can be used as pesticide emulsifiers, coolants and lubricants in metal cutting and grinding, as well as lubricants during rubber vulcanization.
    5. Polyethers can be used as crude oil demulsifiers. L64 and F68 effectively inhibit hard scale formation in oil pipelines and support secondary oil recovery.
    6. Polyethers are applied as papermaking additives. F68 can significantly improve the quality of coated paper.
    7. F38 can be used as emulsifier, wetting agent, defoamer, demulsifier, dispersant, antistatic agent, dust‑removing agent, viscosity regulator, foam controller, levelling agent and gelling agent. It is used in the production of agrochemicals, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. It is also applied in metal‑working cleaning, pulp and paper industry, textile processing (weaving, finishing, dyeing, softening finishing), water treatment, and serves as a rinsing auxiliary.
    8. P65 is mainly applied in the wool textile industry as a wool protective agent. When added at approximately 0.3% in the wool carbonizing process, it reduces damage to wool scales, increases single‑fiber strength by 10% and lowers yarn breakage rate by 10%.
