Product Detail

Diammonium phosphate (DAP) 18-46-0 supplies 46% phosphorus (as P2O5) and 18% nitrogen, making it one of the highest-analysis phosphorus fertilisers available. It is the standard phosphorus source for sowing and planting.

Uses

- At sowing for wheat, barley, maize, canola and pulses

- Root establishment and early vigour in pasture and horticulture

- A base ingredient for custom NPK blends

Application note

Phosphorus barely moves in soil, so it must be placed where young roots will reach it. At high rates, DAP placed directly with the seed can release ammonia that damages germination, so band it beside or below the seed where rates are high.
