The compound is chemically designated as 1,5-dimethyl-6-(2-methyl-4-{[3-(trifluoromethyl)-2-pyridinyl]oxy}phenyl)-2,4(1H,3H)-pyrimidinedione . Tavapadon is developed for the treatment of Parkinson's disease, offering a novel mechanism of action compared to traditional levodopa-based therapies
