Cefsulodin is a pyridinium-substituted semi-synthetic, broad-spectrum, cephalosporin antibiotic. It has a role as an antibacterial drug. It is a cephalosporin, a primary carboxamide and an organosulfonic acid.|Cefsulodin is a semi-synthetic, third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic with a narrow spectrum of activity. Cefsulodin has activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus but little activity against other bacteria.|A pyridinium-substituted semisynthetic, broad-spectrum antibacterial used especially for Pseudomonas infections in debilitated patients.
