Basic Blue 54 Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Using 6-methoxy-2-aminobenzothiazole and N, N-dimethylaniline as the main raw materials, firstly mix 6-methoxy-2-aminobenzothiazole with sodium nitrite and sulfuric acid in 0-5 Perform diazotization at ℃, and then couple with N, N-dimethylaniline, methylate with dimethyl sulfate, then add zinc chloride to form a salt, and salt out with sodium chloride, filter and dry to obtain the product.

Uses

Suitable for acrylic dyeing. It is a commonly used dye for dyeing acrylic loose fibers, fiber strips and acrylic fleece. It can be dyed with cationic red 2GL and bright yellow 7GL to black. Dyeing in acetic acid and sodium acetate bath, the color is stable under pH 5 and below. If dyed with sulfuric acid or formic acid bath, the color will not change. It can be directly printed on acrylic, viscose or acid-modified polyester fabric, and the ground color can be whitened by Decoline.
