Ambrette seed oil is obtained by steam distillation of the dried, crushed seeds ofAbelmoschusmoschatusMedik. Abelmoschus moschatus (Abelmoschus moschatus or Hibiscus abelmoschus) is not completely dried and crushed seeds, which are steam distilled to obtain the initial oil, and then solvent extraction or saponification is used to remove the contained fatty acids. The yield is 0.2%～0.6%. Native to India. It is now produced in Angola, Indonesia, Ecuador, Seychelles, Madagascar and other countries. It is also produced in my country's Hainan Island and southern Yunnan.
