2-(2-Bromoethoxy)-1,3,5-trichlorobenzene Use and Manufacturing
The preparation method is as follows: adding 2, 4, 6-trichlorophenol and dibromoethane into a reaction kettle, adding toluene and stirring, mixing and heating to 80°C, adding an appropriate amount of sodium hydroxide solution dropwise, and refluxing and stirring. After the reaction is over, the toluene layer is washed with sodium hydroxide solution to remove unreacted 2, 4, 6-trichlorophenol, desolventize and dry to obtain a finished product.
2-(2,4,6-Trichlorophenoxy)ethyl bromide is an intermediate of the fungicide prochloraz.
