The preparation method is to add cyanuric chloride and solvent into the reaction flask, cool, and add cyclopropylamine dropwise. The reaction temperature is controlled below 5℃, after dropping, stirring for 20min, then adding sodium hydroxide dropwise, and stirring for 2~3h , Filter, and concentrate the filtrate to obtain the product.
2-Cyclopropylamino-4,6-dichloro-s-triazine is an intermediate of the insecticide cyromazine.
