General procedure: Under theprotection of Ar, aryl alcohol and pyridyl alcohol derivatives with differentsubstituent (1 equiv.) was dissolved in dichloromethane (20 mL) at 0 C, followed by addition of 2-chloroethanesulfonyl chloride (1.2 equiv.) and triethylamine(3 equiv.). The reaction mixture was stirred at 0 C for 12 h. The reactionmixture was then quenched with water, and extracted with ethyl acetate (3 × 20mL). The organic layer was dried (Na2SO4) and concentratedunder reduced pressure to the residue, which was then purified by silica gelcolumn chromatography (Petroleum ether and EtOAc, 9 : 1~1 : 1) to give dienophiles 9a-9n.A mixture of
