Potassium tetrafluoroborate Use and Manufacturing

Uses

It is used as a flux for hot welding and brazing. It is used as a raw material for boron-containing alloys produced by aluminum and magnesium casting. It is used as a filler in grinding wheels bonded with thermosetting resin. When welding and fusing silver, gold and stainless steel, it can remove the dross of light metals. Raw materials for making boron trifluoride and other fluoride salts. Reagents also used in electrochemical processes.
