Bromous acid, sodium salt (1:1) Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Synthetic solid alkali is added with water to make a liquid alkali, and the reaction is carried out with chlorine gas at low temperature. After removing sodium chloride, bromine is added to make sodium hypobromite. Maintaining a certain low temperature and Ph value allows sodium hypobromite to undergo disproportionation reaction to generate bromine sodium. Remove the undisproportionated sodium hypohalite with ammonia, filter, evaporate, and filter out the salt, and then dilute and mix with the stable solution to prepare the finished sodium bromate. Its 2NaOH+C12→NaClO+NaCl+H2O2NaOH+Br2→NaBrO+NaBr+H2ONaClO+NaBr→NaBrO+NaCl2NaBrO→NaBrO2+NaBr3NaBrO2→2NaBrO3+NaBr

Uses

NaBrO2
