Methods of Manufacturing

The double decomposition method molybdenum concentrate is oxidized and roasted and leached with liquid caustic so as to obtain sodium molybdate solution. Under stirring, barium chloride solution is added to react to produce barium molybdate precipitate. The precipitate is centrifuged, washed and dried to obtain molybdenum Finished barium acid. 2MOS2+7O2→2MoO3+4SO2↑MoO3+2NaOH→Na2MoO4+H2ONa2MoO4+BaC12→BaMo4↓+2NaCl

Uses

Used as an adhesive for enamel products to make enamel and iron adhere firmly. It can also be used to remove sulfur from naphtha.
