2-Hydroxy-N-(4-methoxyphenyl)-11H-benzo[a]carbazole-3-carboxamide Use and Manufacturing
Using 2, 3-acid, phenylhydrazine and p-anisidine as raw materials, firstly 2, 3-acid is sulfonated with fuming sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide is alkali-melted, and then it is condensed with phenylhydrazine in a chlorobenzene medium to close the ring. Obtain 2-hydroxy-1', 2'-benzocarbazole-3-carboxylic acid, which is then condensed with p-methoxyaniline, neutralized, distilled, filtered, and dried to obtain a finished product.
Mainly used as a primer for dyeing and printing cotton fabrics. Printing and dyeing black is more distinctive, with dark black color, not brittle cloth, and good fastness.
