N-(2-Ethoxyphenyl)-3-hydroxy-2-naphthalenecarboxamide Use and Manufacturing
Using 2, 3-acid and o-ethoxyaniline as raw materials, the 2, 3-acid is firstly salted in chlorobenzene medium, and then condensed with o-ethoxyaniline in the presence of PCl3, after neutralization, distillation, and filtration , Dry to get the finished product. Add 1600L of chlorobenzene, 450kg of 2, 3-acid (100% equivalent) and 200kg of sodium carbonate in the salt-forming pot. Heat to 45°C. After the CO2 escapes, increase the temperature for dehydration, and the temperature can reach 134-135°C. Stop heating until the distilled liquid is transparent and water-free. The volume of material liquid is about 1100L. First press the above-mentioned salt-forming liquid into the condensation kettle, cool to 90℃, then add 344kg o-ethoxyaniline (100%), cool to 65-70℃, add phosphorus trichloride-chlorobenzene mixture within 2h Liquid (55%-60% mixed liquid made up of 142.5kg phosphorus trichloride and anhydrous chlorobenzene), the temperature is 98-100℃ when the addition is complete, and the reaction is kept for 2h. Add 2000L of water and 50kg of sodium carbonate to the distillation kettle, then press into the above condensation solution, stir for 15min, and determine the pH=8-8.5 (if lower than this value, add Na2CO3). Then heat distillation until the residual liquid volume is about 3000L, switch to direct steam distillation until there is no chlorobenzene in the distillate. Add 90°C hot water until the material liquid reaches about 5000L, filter while hot, and wash the filter cake with 90°C hot water until the filtrate is clear, drain the water and dry, and get about 640kg of finished product.
Naphthol AS-PH is mainly used for dyeing cotton. It can be used alone or in combination with red base KB, RL or red salt AL to dye bright yellow light red; it is used in combination with Naphthol AS-D to match with red base KB. Used for dyeing red bunting. Naphthol AS-PH is also used for the dyeing of vinylon, viscose, silk, nylon, and diacetate, and is generally not used for printing.
