N-cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazolesulfenamide

Accelerator CZ Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

It is derived from the reaction of accelerator M (2-thiol benzothiazole) with cyclohexylamine. The accelerator M is mixed with the cyclohexylamine aqueous solution, and sodium hypochlorite is added dropwise under stirring to obtain a crude product. The solid material is separated, washed with water to neutrality, and dried below 75°C to obtain a finished product. Raw material consumption (kg/t) accelerator M (95%) 745 cyclohexylamine (95%) 500

Uses

CZ is a highly active after-effect accelerator with excellent scorch resistance, safe processing and short curing time. The promotion effect is strong when the vulcanization temperature is above 138℃. Often cooperate with WIlling TMTD, WIlling DPG or other alkaline accelerator to cooperate with the second accelerator. Alkaline accelerators such as thiurams and dithiocarbamates can enhance their activity. It is mainly used to manufacture industrial rubber products such as tires, hoses, rubber shoes, cables and so on.
