Methods of Manufacturing

The m-aminobenzene sulfonic acid is sulfonated with fuming sulfuric acid and then cooled, diluted with water, heated and added with activated carbon, stirred at 95°C for decolorization, filtered, and obtained by adding salt to the filtrate. Raw material consumption quota: m-aminobenzene sulfonic acid (industrial product) 715kg/t, oleum (SO320%) 2810kg/t, refined salt (industrial product) 1273kg/t, activated carbon 22kg/t.

Uses

Used as a dye intermediate, mainly used in the manufacture of direct light blue RGL, activated emerald blue KGL, activated bright yellow and activated orange, etc.
