Pepsin A Use and Manufacturing

Take 200kg of porcine gastric mucosa by autolysis and filtration, add it to a jacketed pot containing 100L of water and 3.8L of hydrochloric acid (CP) under stirring. When heated to 500, stir quickly to make the acidity uniform and keep the temperature at 45~480 C, make it digest for 3~4h, get from solution. Filter with gauze to remove undigested tissue protein residues, and collect the filtrate. Porcine gastric mucosa H2O; HCl; 450; 3h→auto-dissolve, filter and degrease from the solution, remove impurities, cool the filtrate to room temperature, add 15%-20% chloroform or ether under constant stirring, and transfer the solution to In the precipitation degreasing device, let it stand for 1 to 2 days to completely precipitate the impurities, separate the clear liquid, and discard the precipitate. Get defatted enzyme solution. From the solution chloroform or ether → degreasing; concentrating and drying the supernatant to remove impurities to take the clear enzyme solution, concentrating at less than 400 under reduced pressure to about 1/4 of the original volume, and then vacuum drying the concentrated enzyme solution, ball milling through 80~ Sieve with 100 meshes to obtain pepsin powder. Uses

This product can decompose protein coagulated by stomach acid into peptone, but cannot further decompose it into amino acids. Its digestive power is the strongest with 0.2% to 0.4% hydrochloric acid (PH=1.6 to 1.8).
