Pepsin A Use and Manufacturing
Take 200kg of porcine gastric mucosa by autolysis and filtration, add it to a jacketed pot containing 100L of water and 3.8L of hydrochloric acid (CP) under stirring. When heated to 500, stir quickly to make the acidity uniform and keep the temperature at 45~480 C, make it digest for 3~4h, get from solution. Get defatted enzyme solution. This product can decompose protein coagulated by stomach acid into peptone, but cannot further decompose it into amino acids. Its digestive power is the strongest with 0.2% to 0.4% hydrochloric acid (PH=1.6 to 1.8).
