Description

clear liquid Polymethacrylates are synthetic cationic and anionic polymers of dimethylaminoethyl methacrylates, methacrylic acid, and methacrylic acid esters in varying ratios. Several different types are commercially available and may be obtained as the dry powder, as an aqueous dispersion, or as an organic solution. A (60 : 40) mixture of acetone and propan-2-ol is most commonly used as the organic solvent.
Eudragit E is a cationic polymer based on dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate and ot

Poly(methyl acrylate) Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Add 3% of the emulsifier equivalent to the total amount of monomers into the polymerization kettle, add deionized water and stir to dissolve, heat up to 60 ℃, add 0.4% ammonium persulfate as initiator, and then add 30% of the mixed monomers. When the temperature rises to about 80 ℃, slowly add the remaining 70% monomer. After the monomer was added, the temperature was raised to 95-98°C and stirred for 0.5 h, cooled, and the pH was adjusted with water. Get the finished product.

Uses

Used as warp sizing agent for polyester-cotton, polyester-viscose and polyester-nitrile fabrics
