Poly-1-butene Use and Manufacturing
polybutene is a binder and viscosity-increasing agent used more in makeup than skin care preparations. Polybutene is a polymer of one or more butylenes obtained from petroleum oils.
Drug Function and Efficacy
After long-term use, abruptly stopping the use of tobacco products will lead to withdrawal syndrome, including four or more of the following symptoms: irritability or depression, insomnia, irritability, frustration or worry, anxiety, inattention, restlessness or impatience, slow heart rate, appetite or weight gain, and craving for cigarettes, which are confirmed as clinically relevant symptoms and are also an important part of the withdrawal syndrome during nicotine withdrawal. Clinical studies have shown that nicotine replacement products can help smokers give up smoking.
