Methods of Manufacturing

Using 3, 9-perylene dicarboxylic acid and isobutanol as raw materials, using nitrobenzene as a solvent, in the presence of phosphorus trichloride, the product is condensed. After the solvent recovery and other post-treatment procedures, the finished product is dried. There is a small amount of 3, 10-position isomer in the product.

Used for coloring of plastics, etc.
