Dibutyl maleate Use and Manufacturing

Uses

1. Used as raw materials for synthetic resins and coatings, also used as impregnants, dispersants, lubricants, etc. in the petroleum industry, textiles, plastics, paper industry, and as plasticizers for polyvinyl chloride resins and methacrylic resins. Maleate is used as an intermediate in organic synthesis mainly for addition reactions on double bonds. For example, the Diels-Alder reaction with butadiene, cyclopentadiene, etc. adds hydrogen, nitrile, thiol, amine, and other active hydrogen-containing compounds to the famous surfactant dialkyl succinate sulfonate. It is prepared by addition of sodium bisulfate. The addition of other ammonia, amines and maleic acid esters at the same time as the amidolysis (imidization) reaction occurs due to aminolysis, which acts as an acylating agent. Diethyl maleate is extremely widely used and is also used as an intermediate for the production of high-efficiency insecticide marathon and other pesticides and medicines. It can also be used for the production of polymer compounds; dimethyl maleate, dibutyl ester, and dioctyl ester are Excellent plasticizer for PVC; copolymerizable with monomers such as vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate, etc. used as impregnating agents, dispersants, lubricants for coatings, adhesives, papermaking, textiles, etc.; diisooctyl maleate and male Dinonyl acid is a good petroleum pour point depressant. It is also used in insecticides, fungicides and anti-rust additives. 2. This product is an internal plasticizer and can be copolymerized with monomers such as vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate, styrene or acrylic esters for coatings, films, adhesives, paper treatment agents, pigment fixing agents and impregnating agents. , Dispersants, lubricants, etc.
