8-Bromoguanine Use and Manufacturing

2-Amino-8- {4-[2-(trifluoromethyl)phenoxy1piperidin- 1 -yl ) - 1 , 9-dihydro-6H-purin-6-one A mixture of 2-amino-8-bromo-l, 9-dihydro-6H-purin-6-one (100 mg, 0.4 mmol), 4-[2- (trifluoromethyl)phenoxy]piperidine (0.24 mL, 0.98 mmol) and triethylamine (0.1 mL, 0.65 mmol) in 2- methoxymethanol/water (4:1, 0.7 mL) was heated at 130 0C for 16 h. The volatiles were evaporated to one third the volume and diluted with saturated aqueous NaHCO3 (2 mL). The resulting solid was filtered and washed with water and then MeOH. The product was dried under high vacuum to give the title product as a solid. lH NMR (500 MHz, DMSO-^): delta 11.26 (s, 1 H), 10.26 (s, 1 H), 7.64-7.60 (m, 2 H), 7.37 (d, 1 H), 7.09 (t, 1 H), 5.97 (s, 1 H), 4.87 (s, 1 H), 3.65 (s, 2 H), 3.50 (s, 2 H), 1.98 (s, 2 H), 1.71 (s, 2 H). MS (+ESI) m/z 395 (MH+).
