Acid Blue 7 Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Using 2, 4-disulfonic acid benzaldehyde and N-ethyl-N-benzylaniline as raw materials, the two are first condensed, and the product is obtained by oxidation. The finished product is obtained by salting out and drying. Dissolve 54kg of 2, 4-disulfonic acid benzaldehyde (100%) in 81kg of sulfuric acid (100%). When heated to 45-50℃, add 91.8kg of N-ethyl-N-benzylaniline (100%) , The temperature is raised to 100-103 ℃, the condensation reaction is maintained for 72 hours, filtered, the filter cake is purified with sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid, the purified condensation product is melted with sodium carbonate alkali, and 2.475-2.625kg potassium dichromate (100%) is added. 1.29kg sulfuric acid, 5.4kg acetic acid, 3.6kg oxalic acid, oxidized at 100℃ for 1h, salted out, filtered and dried to obtain the finished product. There is a manganese dioxide oxidation process abroad. The operation is as follows: add 1mol/L sodium hydroxide solution 40mL to the suspension formed by 12.5g leuco body and 400mL water, then add 400mL water, heat up to 85-95℃, add 2.1g A suspension of manganese dioxide and 20 g of water was added with a mixture of 4 g of acetic acid and 5.25 g of 8% phosphoric acid while stirring, stirred at 85-95°C for 15 min, and filtered. The filtrate was salted out with 6%-7% sodium chloride, filtered, and dried at 100-105°C to obtain 15g of product (Pol.126654).

Uses

Acid Turquoise Blue 2G can be used for dyeing wool, silk, nylon and direct printing of wool and silk fabrics. It has good level dyeing properties, beautiful color, but poor fastness, and the light fastness is only Grade 2. It can be combined with acid bright yellow 2G to dye bright fruit green and emerald green, and it can also be combined with dyes such as navy blue and red to increase the vividness of dyeing. It can also be used to color leather, paper, cosmetics, soap, biological products, and make lake pigments.
