Pigment Yellow 5 Use and Manufacturing
Reaction equation operation process Weigh 3.37g (98.5% 0.024mol) of o-nitroaniline into a 50ml beaker, measure 3.0ml 98% concentrated sulfuric acid and add it to dissolve, then add 20ml of water and stir to make the diazonium group analyzed, and cool To 0~5℃ for use. Weigh 1.8g of NaNO2 to make a 30% solution, and add it to the diazonium component suspension, react for 1 hour, the end of the NaNO2 excess solution is strongly acidic, and add activated carbon to decolor, filter, and prepare for coupling. Weigh 4.30g of acetoacetanilide into 60ml, and add 3.6ml of 30% sodium hydroxide solution to dissolve it, filter to remove impurities, then measure 2.6ml of glacial acetic acid and add it, stir to precipitate a white precipitate, and add 8.00g of sodium acetate. Keep the pH of the suspension at 6-7. The diazonium salt is added to the above-mentioned acetoacetanilide suspension to immediately generate a yellow pigment, the temperature is 10-15°C, the feeding time is 0.5h, the coupling is over, and the coupling component is slightly excessive. Filter and wash until neutral, and dry at 80°C to get the product.
Mainly used for coloring of paints, inks, rubber, plastics and cultural and educational supplies.
