2-(1-Methylethylidene)hydrazinecarboxamide Use and Manufacturing
Take hydrazine hydrate and urea as raw materials, condense to obtain semicarbazide liquid, and then synthesize with acetone to refine the finished product. Mix hydrazine hydrate and urea, heat to 97-104°C and reflux for 6-7h. Cool down to 45°C and filter to obtain semicarbazide liquid. The filtrate is cooled to 25°C, acetone is added, and the temperature is naturally increased to 50-60°C for 1 hour. Cool to below 20°C, filter, and dry the filter cake to obtain acetone semicarbazone. The weight ratio is: hydrazine hydrate (40%): urea: acetone=1: 0.67: 0.56. The yield is 90%. As an intermediate, the appearance is white powder with a melting point of 185-189°C. Raw material consumption quota: hydrazine hydrate (40%) 300kg/t, urea (industrial product) 870kg/t, acetone (industrial product) 720kg/t.
This product is used as an intermediate for the production of furantanidine.
