N-Acetylethylenediamine Use and Manufacturing
Derived from the condensation of ethylenediamine and acetic anhydride. In the acylation reactor, dilute ethylenediamine with ice water to a concentration of about 20%, and then slowly add industrial acetic anhydride. The reaction temperature is controlled at 20-25°C. After the reaction reaches the end point, 30% sodium hydroxide solution is used The finished product is obtained by neutralizing to pH=6.5-7.
Dye intermediate.
