Methods of Manufacturing

In the double decomposition method, copper sulfate and anhydrous sodium pyrophosphate are respectively made into solutions of a certain concentration. After filtration and purification, the copper sulfate solution is added to the reactor, and the specified amount of anhydrous sodium pyrophosphate solution is added dropwise under stirring for metathesis The reaction produces copper pyrophosphate, the pH value is controlled at about 5 to 5.5, filtered, rinsed with water, centrifuged, and dried to obtain a finished copper pyrophosphate. Na4P2O7+2CuSO4→Cu2P2O7+2Na2SO4

Used as electroplating additive to formulate phosphate pigment
