Basic Blue 41 Use and Manufacturing
With 2-amino-6-methoxybenzothiazole and N-ethyl-N-hydroxyethylaniline as the main raw materials, firstly, 2-amino-6-methoxybenzothiazole is present in sodium nitrite and sulfuric acid Carry out diazotization, then couple with N-ethyl-N-hydroxyethyl aniline, then methylate with dimethyl sulfate, form salt with zinc chloride, filter and dry to obtain finished product.
It is mainly used for printing and dyeing acrylic and its blended fabrics. Dyeing in acetic acid and sodium acetate bath, the color is stable when pH<5. If dyed with sulfuric acid bath, the color is light and green. If dyed with a formic acid bath, the color remains unchanged. The dyeing rate is medium, so it is suitable for dyeing bright blue. The product can be combined with cationic yellow X-6G and red X-GRL to form three primary colors, which can be dyed with various light and dark colors. The light color is a bright blue with a slight red light, and the dark color is a rich navy blue. This product is compatible with cationic X-GRL. Because of its heavy stain on its chemical fibers, this product is generally not used for dyeing blended fabrics.
