Ketorolac tromethamine

1. When this drug is used in combination with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, adverse reactions increase and should be avoided. 2. The combined use of diuretics can increase the adverse reactions of this drug. 3. This drug is used in combination with morphine or pethidine hydrochloride to treat postoperative pain without obvious adverse interactions. 4. It is used in combination with certain anti-infective drugs such as beta-lactam penicillins, cephalosporins and aminoglycoside antibiotics, antiemetics, laxatives, bronchodilators, etc. There is no drug interaction. Drug-food interaction: Food can reduce the absorption rate of this drug, but it does not affect the absorption rate.

The main ingredient is ketorolac tromethamine. Chemical name: (±)-5-benzoyl-2, 3-dihydro-1H-pyrrolazine-1-carboxylic acid and 2-amino-2-hydroxymethyl-1, 3-propanediol salt (1:1) complex.

1. There is no research data to clearly confirm the interaction between this product and warfarin, digoxin, salicylates and heparin, but it is necessary to be extremely cautious when giving this product to patients using anticoagulants, and the patients need to be closely observed. 2. The oral preparation of this product and prosoprolol combined can reduce the clearance rate of ketorolac and significantly increase the plasma concentration level of ketorolac (total AUC increased from 5.4μg/h/ml to 17.8μg/h/ml, about three times higher), and the half-life is extended by about 2 times, from 6.6 hours to 15.1 hours. Therefore, this product is forbidden to be used in combination with prosoprolol. 3. When this product is injected intravenously/intramuscularly into healthy subjects with normal blood volume, the diuretic effect of furosemide is reduced by about 20%. 4. There are reports that the simultaneous administration of methotrexate and some non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs will reduce the clearance rate of methotrexate and increase its toxicity. However, the effect of this product on the clearance rate of methotrexate has not been studied. 5. There are reports that prostaglandin synthesis inhibitors inhibit the clearance of lithium in the kidneys, leading to an increase in plasma lithium concentration. At present, there is no research data on the effect of this product on plasma lithium, but there have been reports of increased plasma lithium concentration when using ketorolac tromethamine. 6. This product may interact with non-depolarizing muscle relaxants and cause respiratory arrest, but there is no formal research data in this regard. 7. The combined use of this product and ACE inhibitors may increase the possibility of renal damage, especially for patients with blood volume failure. This risk is greater. 8. Epilepsy may occur when this product is used in combination with anti-epileptic drugs (phenytoin, carbamazepine), but this possibility is extremely small. 9. When this product is used in combination with nervous system drugs (fluoxetine, thiothixene, alprazolam), it is possible to cause hallucinations in patients. 10. No adverse interactions have been observed when this product is used in combination with morphine to treat postoperative pain; but do not mix this product and morphine in the same syringe for injection. 11. There are no animal or human studies to demonstrate whether this product induces or inhibits liver enzymes that affect the metabolism of ketorolac tromethamine or other drugs.
