Ethyl 2-bromopropionate Use and Manufacturing
The preparation method is to put propionic acid and red phosphorus into the reaction bottle, add bromine dropwise at 60°C for about 3h, then warm up to 100~120°C, keep warm and stir for 6h, cool, filter, heat and distill the filtrate, and then fractionate to obtain 2 -Bromopropionyl bromide, the finished product is obtained by reacting 2-bromopropionyl bromide with absolute ethanol. The reaction equation is as follows: CH3CH2COOH+Br2[P]→CH3CHBrCOBr+H2OCH3CHBrCOBr+C2H5OH→CH3CHBrCOOC2H5+HBr
