Methods of Manufacturing

Put 1 mol of sorbitol into the reactor, vacuum dehydration, then preheat the refined oleic acid into the kettle, the amount of oleic acid added is 3 mol, and then add an appropriate amount of sodium hydroxide as a catalyst. Then, the temperature was gradually increased to about 210°C under vacuum, and the reaction was incubated for 8 h. Sampling and measuring the acid value 14 ~ 15 mgKOH/g esterification reaction is over. Stand still and layer, throw away the lower layer liquid, the upper layer liquid is put into the decolorization kettle, decolorized with hydrogen peroxide, dehydrated under reduced pressure, and after the dehydration is completed, the output packaging is the finished product.

Uses

Lonzest(R) STO is a low HLB versatile surfactant. Its oil solubility makes it a very effective coupling agent and co-emulsifier for mineral oil. It is suggested for use in cosmetic formulations, household products, plastics, coatings and textile chemicals.
