Shaanxi Coal Chemical Xinjiang's BDO-PTMEGproject with a total investment of 11.019 billion yuan was approved
It is understood that the website of the Department of Ecology andEnvironment of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region reported on October 10 that the decision to approve the environmental impact report of some constructionprojects is proposed, and the new materials project of natural gas-basedchemicals of Shaanxi Coal Chemical Group Co.
The project, with a total investment of 11.019 billion yuan, is locatedin the Bazhou Kulle Petroleum and Petrochemical Industrial Park in Kulle City,Bayingoleng Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
The project uses natural gas as the main raw material to produce BDO andits downstream PTMEG, PBAT, NMP and other new chemical materials. The mainproduction units include 2 sets of 50,000 tons/year natural gas to acetyleneunits, 1 set of 300,000 tons/year methanol and hydrogen production units, 3sets of 240,000 tons/year formaldehyde units, 3 sets of 104,000 tons/year BDOunits, 4 sets of 46,000 tons/year PTMEG units, 2 sets of 60,000 tons/year PBATunits and 1 set of 30,000 tons/year GBL-NMP units, totaling 16 productionunits.
